Pop-Up Dinner to Benefit Culinary Student Association Oct. 20 at Careme’s Restaurant

ariel view of watermelon slices and soupThe Culinary Student Association of the Academy of Culinary Arts is hosting a five-course vegetarian pop-up dinner at 6:30 p.m. this Friday, Oct  20, at Careme’s Restaurant located in M Building of the Mays Landing Campus.

Cost is 40$ per person with proceeds benefitting the CSA.

The menu includes Watermelon Gazpacho, Eggplant Spaetzel, Tofu Ceviche, Sweet & Sour Cauliflower Steak and Bread Pudding with Bourbon Sauce.

Business has been slow so I and the faculty and staff of the academy would love for you to come support the culinary program by making a lunch reservation. The restaurant offers an a la carte lunch menu with items including Tomato Escarole Soup with White Beans, a Chef’s Soup of the Day, Tossed Garden Salad, Baby Spinach and Mushroom Salad, Roasted Chicken Shepherd’s Pie, Steak Frites, Roasted Tomato Macaroni and Cheese, Southern Fried Chicken Sliders, Pulled Pork Sandwich, Grilled Eggplant and Roasted Pepper Sandwich, Pumpkin Cheesecake, Apple Raisin Crisp and Chocolate Crème Brulee. St. Augustine Prep Students Complete ‘Third Semester’ Program at Academy of Culinary Arts
