Careme’s Accepting Reservations for Lunch; $8.95 Special Available

Lunch menu items for fall semester include: Tomato Escarole Soup with White Beans, a Chef’s Soup of the Day, Tossed Garden Salad, Baby Spinach and Mushroom Salad, Roasted Chicken Shepherd’s Pie, Steak Frites, Roasted Tomato Macaroni and Cheese, Southern Fried Chicken Sliders, Pulled Pork Sandwich, Grilled Eggplant and Roasted Pepper Sandwich, Pumpkin Cheesecake, Apple Raisin Crisp and Chocolate Crème Brulee!

Careme’s Restaurant is Open for Lunch for Spring Semester; Farm-to-Table Cuisine Featured

Careme’s, the student-run, gourmet restaurant at Atlantic Cape Community College’s Academy of Culinary Arts, will reopen Monday, Jan. 23.

The restaurant will offer an a la carte lunch menu with items including Minestrone with Basil Pesto, Chef’s Daily Soup, Caesar Salad, Careme’s Chopped Salad, Fresh Pasta of the Day, Grilled London Broil, Pan-Seared Salmon, Chicken Milanese, Grilled Chicken Sandwich and Careme’s Burger. Desserts offered are Roasted Apple Bread Pudding, Flourless Chocolate Tart and Carrot Cake.

For groups, the restaurant will offer a three-course menu featuring locally sourced ingredients, prepared and served with care and attention to detail.  The luncheon menu for groups is priced at $16.95 per person, plus tax and a service charge, which helps provide scholarships for academy students. A tasting to launch the new farm-to-table menu concept at Careme’s Restaurant at the Academy of Culinary Arts was held Thursday, Nov. 12.

Invited guests enjoyed a number of delicious dishes prepared by Academy of Culinary Arts students that were made up of ingredients from local purveyors.
