Last Chance to Register for Spring Classes at Atlantic Cape; Registration Hours Extended Through Thursday, Jan. 11

Time is running out to register for the spring semester at Atlantic Cape Community College. Spring semester classes begin Jan. 16. Seats are still available in astronomy, aviation, business, communication, culinary, criminal justice, hospitality, math and many other courses during the spring semester.

Due to recent weather-related closures, the college is offering extended registration hours at its Mays Landing Campus from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. through Thursday, Jan. 11. Normal registration hours will resume on Friday, Jan. 12, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., which is the last day to register in person. Boy Scout John Risley III of Egg Harbor Township got the opportunity to meet with Dr. Barbara Gaba, president of Atlantic Cape Community College, as well as tour the Mays Landing Campus, on Monday, Nov. 27, after recently being recognized in the Current of Egg Harbor Township for his service project that benefits military serving overseas. Academy of Culinary Arts Enrolling for Spring Classes Now

If you’ve always loved to cook or are ready to make a career change, now is the time to register for spring 2018 classes at the Academy of Culinary Arts at Atlantic Cape Community College. Spring classes begin Tuesday, Jan. 16.

New culinary students should contact Judy DeSalvo at 609-343-5624 or desalvo@atlantic.edu to schedule a registration appointment. Registration hours are weekdays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Students who take advantage of early registration can delay their payment until Dec. 4. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet college faculty and learn about degree and career-training programs, take a tour of the new STEM building, and explore the Mays Landing Campus, as well as learn about the enrollment process and financial aid opportunities. Continue reading

Volunteers Still Needed for Oct. 15 College-Wide Open House

The Admissions Office is still seeking faculty and staff to volunteer for our Fall 2017 College-Wide Open House:

Mays Landing Campus – STEM Building — Sunday, Oct. 15, 1-3 p.m.

Students will have the opportunity to speak with college faculty to learn about degree and career training programs, meet with staff to discuss the enrollment process and find out about college services and activities, as well as take a student- or staff-led tour of campus.

The Admissions Office greatly appreciates your participation in our college-wide open houses. We are grateful for the continued support of faculty and staff in our recruitment efforts and hope you will consider getting involved for this wonderful event!
