NJTransfer.org Presentation and Workshop Jan. 12

Space is still available for an Informational and interactive NJTransfer.org presentation and workshop for advisors, counselors, faculty, adjunct instructors and staff. Help your students plan for transfer in-state, Tuesday, Jan.12, from 10-11:30 a.m.

The presentation will take place in J-202 (ML) and video conferenced to Room 113 (CMCC), and Room 215 (WACC).

John Scott, director, and Linda Tromp, associate director, New Jersey Statewide Transfer Initiative, will lead a presentation on NJTransfer.org.

NJTransfer.org is a website that helps students transfer community college courses to four-year institutions in the State of New Jersey.

Its many features assist students in learning:

• Which courses to select at a community college

• Which New Jersey four-year colleges offer equivalent courses

• How the courses will satisfy four-year degree requirements

• Where you can transfer your community college courses in New Jersey

Topics will also include the NJ Statewide Transfer Agreement and an overview of NJ Transfer Website functions.

To participate, RSVP to Wendy Gray at wgray@atlantic.edu with your name and the campus location you will attend.

A student from either of the two counties who is denied admission to Stockton University directly out of high school would be offered conditional admission as a transfer student to Stockton from Atlantic Cape, under the program. The application fee for Stockton will be waived for eligible students.  Continue reading
